NECG Sight & Scope Mounting Prices
Thank you for your inquiry into our sights and services. Please note that in general we do not make our sights to fit a specific barrel contour or make of rifle barrel. Our sights are designed to be fit to the individual barrel to achieve the best results.
If you are ordering sights, please check with your gunsmith for help in determining the right components to suit your needs.
Below is an outline of our sight installation for the purpose of providing you with a price estimate only. We will give you a firm written quotation once the gun is visually inspected.
FRONT SIGHTS:
Please note that all "Screw on" or "Press Fit" sights will be prepared and blued to match the guns finish. All "Solder On" ramps will require re-bluing*. All ramps will be supplied with a Silver bead unless otherwise specified. Additional costs will be applied for other inserts.

***Magnum Mounting installation: Open front base and receiver holes to 8-40, fit Weaver head Torx screws to front and rear base, 271 Loctite on base screws and 3M "Scotchkote" in both rings. Range testing will also be done and ammunition will be billed by the rounds fired.
Before packaging the gun and scope for shipment to us we ask that you do the following: You hold the gun in a comfortable shooting position.
Have another person hold the scope, you wish to have mounted, over the gun. (If a variable powered scope please be certain that the scope is set on its highest magnification as this is the critical setting for eye relief.) Have them move the scope back and forth over the gun until you achieve the proper eye relief.
At this point, have the person mark the barrel of the gun with a piece of masking tape so that the back edge of the tape lines up with the front end of the scope. This will give us a reference point. When the gun and scope arrive we will align the scope with the tape and select the proper mounting components to achieve the best possible mounting solution.
