NEW PRODUCT!! Sourdough Post with White Centerline R-103W. Solid, blued steel sight with a white enamel centerline. Blade face is 3/32" / 2.5mm wide with a .040" / 1mm wide white centerline. Available in 6,5mm/.256" & 10.0mm/.394" heights. Sight can be filed down to elevate the point of impact. Overall height is measured from the bottom of the dovetail to the top of the bead. Please note that minor fitting may be required. Dovetail is 2mm / .080" thick, 22mm / .866" long, and 5,3mm / .209" wide with a 75 degree angle. SIGHT HEIGHT CORRECTION: If you need to correct the point of impact, by changing the front sight, we need to know the following:
1) Distance from the front sight to the rear sight, in inches.
2) The amount of correction needed, in inches @ 25, 50, or 100 yds.
3) The overall height of the existing front sight insert, top to bottom, in thousands of inch.

Fitting Sight Inserts: Use a sheet of 220-320 grit sandpaper on a clean, flat surface. Set the sight down onto the sandpaper. Push the sight back and forth several times, being careful to keep the sight flat on the sandpaper. From time to time try the insert in the dovetail. Repeat as required until the insert slides completely into the dovetail. Tip: From time to time tilt the insert @ 45 degrees to the left and to the right to break the edge of the inserts dovetail. Breaking these edges may be all that is required to fit the insert.
