I thought I’d share a recent experience shooting with this aperture sight. I chose it to replace the rather flimsy barrel-mounted rear sight (2-piece) on my CZ 527. I did not like how the factory sight leaf was held in position with set screws. This sight is more robust and easier to adjust. I was able to fire a 1” group on my 100 yard range. I found the aperture size to be ideal and didn’t wish for it to be larger nor smaller. The overall design is smart and works well with the CZ front fiber optic.

I just wanted to add my praise for this extremely well designed, ruggedly-built ghost ring site. Its design not only helps sight-in much quicker and more easily than the original CZ "V" site, but even makes the rifle look cool, almost like a vintage mil surp rifle. Simple, 30 second installation, too.

For what it's worth, I bought my CZ527 in 2020, and the stock front blade on the rifle works perfectly with this ghost ring rear.

Easy to install and adjust. I put this on a CZ 527 Youth, with the adjustable fiber optic front sight. Works like a charm. High quality. Now I need a peep sight for my Ruger 10/22. Any suggestions?
