NECG Classic Ramp with Folding Hood. WE HAVE BEEN INFORMED THE COMPANY THAT MADE THESE FOR US NO LONGER HAS THE MACHINE TO PRODUCE THEM....SO WHAT INVENTORY HAVE LEFT IS ALL WE WILL HAVE. This a modern version of a period style ramp that dates back to the days of the early express rifle. Featuring a flat back tapered ramp and folding hood. This ramp will accept all of the same interchangeable front sight inserts used in the Masterpiece Banded Ramp. The ramp can be modified to suit the taste or style of any rifle. The hood components have a blue oxide finish and the ramp is delivered in the white ready for fitting.
Ramp height to dovetail is .394" - 10mm. Ramp width is .335" / 8,5mm. Inside diameter is straight and not tapered. Band thickness @ .040". Overall ramp length: 2.95" / 75mm. Ramp only. Sight inserts sold separately.
SIGHT HEIGHT CORRECTION: If you need to correct the point of impact, by changing the front sight, we need to know the following:
1) Distance from the front sight to the rear sight, in inches.
2) The amount of correction needed, in inches @ 25, 50, or 100 yds.
3) The overall height of the existing front sight insert, top to bottom, in thousands of inch.
