I am happy with it

I gave it a 5 star but would really have a 4.8.

I have this on two Ruger 77 rifles.

My only suggestion would to change the slide the aperture slides into. I like to take the aperture out so it works like a ghost ring when I hunt certain areas. It would be very nice if when I took out the aperture it was a big round hole (ghost ring) instead of an oval.

Note it still works with the oval shape. I have no other complaints about the sight, and really what I mentioned above isn’t a complaint, just a suggestion.

In the 4 years I have had these sights on my rifles they have not shifted point of impact one time, never rusted, and have been completely hassle free.
AMAZING

I BOUGHT MY 375 AFRICAN WITH SIGHT ALREADY INSTALLED. THAT RIFLE WAS SOLD AND AS I PREPARE TO BUY ANOTHER I WILL ORDER A SIGHT FOR IT. A FLAT OPEN SIGHT IS GREAT ON SUCH A GUN, BUT GHOST RING SIGHT IS EVEN BETTER. AN ALL STEEL ONE IS SUPERCALIFRAGILISTICEXPEALIDOCIOUS
Great sight! Very easy to use in the field

I give this 4.8 stars

Ive been using this with a NECG front hooded sight on my .223 Ruger Hawkeye M77 for about 3 years now and i can say it stands up well. I shoot and store my guns in a humid climate and its never even changed colour let alone rusted. It holds a zero great and its really easy to dial up or down my range when needed.

If i was to ever change this sight it would be because NECG made a newer better one.

My only plans to change my setup is to add a fibre optic front post because at 32 my eyes start to struggle at the 600m to 800M range.

Idd give 5 starts if i could get a stainless one to match my rifle.
A rare option for the Ruger grooved receiver

I have mounted this sight on a Ruger 77/22 22 WMR. It is very solid, mounts perfectly and looks good. It would get 5 stars except that my rifle does not shoot "straight" (along the bore axis). The limited windage adjustment makes it necessary to move the front sight for windage. Not good, looks bad, but shoots good.
